28th June
Water clarity and levels remain high for the time of the year although there is a slight algae bloom coming on as a result of several bright days.
Insect activity continues at the normal sumer pace and while there don't seem to be as many damsels around as there have been in previous years, their absence has been made up for by an extended season for the larger olive buzzers.
Sedges continue to be the major food item and we've sen the first shoals of this year's perch fry around the main landing stage.
For the coming week, it looks to be unsettled with some strong Westerly or Southwesterly winds and heavy rain expected around the weekend. Daytime temperatures should peak at around 20C.
