Leave Bristol
on the A38 heading south towards the Airport.

Continue
on this road past Barrow reservoirs.

Continue
up the hill, through the 40MPH speed limit at Potters
Hill/Lulsgate Bottom and past the Airport on your
right.

Continue
on the A38 down Redhill towards Bridgwater.

At the bottom
of the hill 100 yards past the Farm shop on your left
there is a signpost to Butcombe.

Continue
straight on the A38 for another 1/2 mile.

At the top
of a slight rise there is a signposted left turn to
Blagdon - take this turning.

Continue
along the lane for 400 yards. The lane turns sharply
right and ends in a T-junction witht he A368. Turn
left onto the A368 and pass through Rickford and on
to Blagdon.

Continue
past the "Queen Adelaide" on your left, and continue
through the narrow section. Just before a sharp right
hand bend, turn left down the hill.

Continue
to follow the road down the hill ignoring all turn-offs.
As the road widens out you will see the lake directly
in front of you.

Continue
down the hill until you are nearly on the dam. Just
past the inspection house on your right and opposite
the entrance to the pumping station turn right.

Follow the
road round for approximately 200 yards. The entrance
to the lodge is on your left.
