Centenary medals

100 medals to commemorate the centenary were made and awarded to fishermen for their contributions over the years.

Boat Competition

A special boat competition to celebrate one hundred years of fishing at Blagdon took place through a series of heats going through to a final in September.

Centenary Best Fish Competition

A special prize was available for the best fish caught.

Tagged fish

One hundred tagged fish were released during the year with prizes ranging from free permits and items of tackles right up to a free season permit. This provied to be so popular that Bristol Water have said that they may repeat tagging again in the future.
