Ash Tree
Ash Tree provides two or three good pitches for bank anglers at
all water levels as a deep (12 feet) channel runs parallel to the
bank along the western edge. The extreme western corner of the pitch
at its junction with Orchard Bay conceals a gravel spit running
in the direction of the fishing lodge on the opposite bank - this
is a good area in the summer or when the water level drops more
than two feet from top.

For boat anglers, the eastern end of Ash Tree provides
boat fishing (either at anchor or on a drift) in higher water conditions.
With drifts parallel to the shore or anchored off the corner turning
into Orchard Bay being favoured for most water levels.
