Rugmoor Bay

Lake mapPeg's PointRugmoor Rugmoor Bay is the area of water that stretches between Rugmoor Point and Peg's Point. In bank fishing terms, the bay is only accessible from the areas immediately to the left of Peg's Point (as seen when standing on Peg's Point) and the southern side of Rugmoor Point.

However, for boat fishing, the entire bay area is available and offers many good anchor points - alongside Peg's Point, at the willow bushes at the head of the bay, alongside Rugmoor Point and midway across the bay in a direct line between the tip of Rugmoor and Peg's Point. The bay also offers fine drift fishing in almost all wind conditions except the occasional strong west or southwesterly winds which frequent the early season.
