Wookey Point
Along
from Bell's, Wookey Point is another poorly-defined area of water
which takes its name from a farm (long-since disappeared or renamed).

The point is shallow at only three feet deep at top
water level but the eastern side of the point is the mouth of a
small inlet. Either side of the point provides good boat fishing
from anchor and on the drift and the inlet sometime holds fish and
is accessible from the bank. The shallow water in this area produces
prolific buzzer and sedge activity if the water levels hold up into
the summer.
